Nar-Dos's short story "Minas Papakhchyan" is a realistic portrayal of Armenian life in the late 19th century. The author psychologically examines the themes of superficial education and alienation from national roots. Set in a rural village, the events expose the emptiness hidden behind the false mask of a pseudo-intellectual.
