New e-book: Fortune, Stepan Zoryan
In an Armenian village at the beginning of the twentieth century, peaceful everyday life is disrupted by an invasion of foreign troops. Galust and Margarit have different ideas of well-being and domestic peace: he is attached to his work as a coachman, while she worries about his exhaustion and long absences. The violence of war and the loss of their possessions alter the course of their lives, revealing how circumstances reshape a person's understanding of fortune, work, and happiness.
