The collector left the following information about the narrator: “Told on July 21, 1915, in the village of Sanahin by Adam Veranyan, a 62-year-old elder, a native of Sanahin. He was a lively, witty man with an excellent memory. In his youth, he worked in cattle breeding within the borders of Sanahin, and later gardening. He often told tales in the village halls."
