“Three Comrades” is a novel first published in 1936 by the German author Erich Maria Remarque. The action takes place in Germany around 1928. Three comrades – Robert Loհkamp, Otto Köster and Gottfried Lenz contain a small car repair shop. Robert meets Patrice Hollmann, a mysterious beautiful young woman․ Robbie and Pat – people of different fates and from different strata of society – fell in love with each other. The novel shows the development of their love during the crisis of those years․
